Switch vs. Strategy

Three frames. 1: Dad says "Here you go!" and hands a piece of paper to two children, the oldest of whom asks "What the hell is this?" 2: She adds "We wanted a Switch!" the dad replies "This is better!" 3: The dad says "It's a Strategy!" The piece of paper is revealed to be a set of instructions on how to save for and purchase their own console system.

Developer vs. Bomb Squad

Two interviews. For the developer, the interviewer asks if he ever made any mistakes and he answers "Tons! I learned a lot." Then, whipping out his laptop, he adds "Let me show you." For the member of the bomb squad, the interviewer asks the same question and gets the same answers except the interviewee shows he has hooks for a hand when he says "Let me show you."

Three frames. Frame 1: People are gathered and holding drinks. A woman asks two men what they do. One says he's in movies and the other says he's in music. Frame 2: The first man proudly states he works on pixel 740, 23. The woman says that's weird and the man asks "What about my friend." Frame 3: The other man says he handles all the sounds between 402 and 403 hertz.

Simplicity, Itself

The argument against cohesion...

One chef introduces another to the Simple Kitchen, claiming there's no dogma, complexity or B.S. In keeping with this policy, they keep all their spices in the same container because they believe fewer containers is simpler. The new chef says that does sound simpler and the old chef says they also cook their steaks and tofu in the same deep-fryer.

The conclusion of the story arc but not the end of the comics.
The boss stands in front of an aerial photograph of a crater explaining that the plan didn't fail: it worked too well. While the bag of money was destroyed the blogosphere is buzzing about the fact that the plan would have worked perfectly if only they had gone for a big enough bag of money on top of a big enough hill. A city-sized bag is shown on top of a mountain as an example.
